Webster Springs Elementary School Backpack program received a donation from the Webster County FRN of a $1000.00. A BIG THANK YOU to the FRN! This will allow WSES to purchase food that will get us through the next month. Our backpack program supplies food to students who may need a little extra on weekends and long breaks that they may be able to fix themselves if necessary. We will happily accept any monetary and/or food donations. Food donations (easy to fix, pop top cans, snacks, water/juice, in date items, etc).

Dollar Day has been cancelled for Friday, September 12th.

Any parents interested in participating in Webster Springs Local School Improvement Committee, please contact Mrs. Ramey. Please let Mrs. Ramey know no later than September 12th if you are interested. The LSIC reviews discipline data and procedures yearly. They encourage involvement of the school community with the school operation. The dialogue shall include an opportunity for attendees to make specific suggestions on how to address issues which are seen to affect the school's academic performance which may include but are not limited to: parent and community involvement, the learning environment, student engagement, attendance, behaviors, supports for at-risk students, curricular offerings, resources, and the capacity for school improvement.

A great resource offered to families.
