Webster County Board of Education Seeking Coaches for 2026-2027 School Year
The Webster County Board of Education is currently accepting applications for several coaching positions for the 2026-2027 school year. Community members who are passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field are encouraged to apply.
Available coaching opportunities include:
Middle School Cheer Coach
High School Cheer Coach
Middle School Soccer Coach
High School Assistant Soccer Coach
Middle School Volleyball Coach
Middle School Assistant Football Coach
High School Assistant Baseball Coach
These positions provide an excellent opportunity for individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of Webster County students while helping to build strong athletic programs that promote leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride.
All coaches must be fully certified through the West Virginia Department of Education. Certified teachers and long-term substitute teachers are exempt from the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission (WVSSAC) coaching education course requirements.
Individuals who are not exempt can find information regarding WVSSAC coaching certification and required courses at WVSSAC Coaches Education.
